Jim Gilbert is a versatile video professional who, as of the summer of 2023, holds the position of Executive Director at Wareham Community Television. In this role, he is passionately dedicated to the rehabilitation and rebranding of the organization, and couldn’t be prouder of the leap from production into leadership.
Jim’s career in video production began as a member at Cambridge Community Television. His talent and commitment to the craft soon propelled him into branded content, music video, and live broadcasting. An alumnus of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, he’s been recognized for his achievements with a Boston Music Award and as the founder of Plus1TV, an entrepreneurial video portal.
In the last eight years, Jim has been making waves as the Educational Access Coordinator for the Town of Barnstable and, subsequently, as the Director of Video Services at the Cotuit Center for the Arts, both located on scenic Cape Cod. Jim’s commitment to growth doesn’t stop there. In 2024, he’s set to embark on a transformative journey as a participant in Leadership Cape Cod, a prestigious six-month program designed to cultivate and connect a diverse cohort of leaders in the vibrant south coast region.
