Jessica Smyser (she/her) has been the Executive Director of Cambridge Community Television (CCTV) since January 2021. She came to CCTV with over 14 years of progressive non-profit leadership experience, most recently as Director of Relationships and Reciprocity at the Academy for the Love of Learning in Santa Fe, a 501c3 non-profit organization founded by composers Aaron Stern and Leonard Bernstein, where she championed the power of learning and the arts, creating connection, healing, and justice for people of all ages. For the past four years, Jessica has also been an adjunct professor, teaching Leadership and Non-profit Management at the Van Loan School of Professional Studies at Endicott College. She previously worked in the music industry as a Marketing Director at Cambridge-based Rounder Records and as General Manager at Somerville-based Q Division Records. She holds a BA in American Studies from Smith College and a Master’s degree from Claremont Lincoln University in Organizational Leadership.
