Along with the ACMNE's Fall Video Festival, a series of 3 special recognition awards for individual achievement in the field of community media are also given out.

Special Awards Form

Without a doubt, the summer has had a very soggy start here in the Northeast. One positive aspect of the endless dreary wet days is that we're really getting a lot of stuff done. One of my big projects in the next couple of weeks is kicking off the 12th (can you believe it?) Annual Video Contest. Every year we get more entries, which is a wonderful thing. So this year, we're trying something new to make ourselves more efficient and save time. Our Entry Form is going on-line!

If you were not able to attend the ACM-NE Fall Video Festival to pick up your award in person, your award was mailed to you around December 7.

If you ordered additional certificates, they were mailed out around December 15. Additional plaques were sent out on January 6, 2009.

If you have not received your awards by January 15, please contact Methuen Community Television at www.methuentv.org. Use our email contact form.

Deadline for entries is September 5th

SAVE THE DATE for the Alliance for Community Media Fall Video Festival. The awards will be given out on the evening of Saturday, November 15 at the Days Hotel and Conference Center in Methuen, MA. Rooms will be available for just $75 a night.

As part of the Festival, four afternoon workshops will be offered on various production topics.
