Liz Lerner, Producer/Videographer, Independent Video Storyteller
Liz Lerner is an award-winning video storyteller who works and resides on Cape Cod. Most of her experience centers around nonprofit organizations where she creates news, documentary, promotional, and marketing videos.
As the Membership and Outreach Coordinator for Falmouth Community Television she created, co-produced and hosted the bi-weekly news magazine program “Falmouth in Focus”, and as the Production Coordinator for Quincy Access Television she produced and hosted the twice-weekly live program “Currently in Quincy”. She graduated from Stonehill College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and received her Master’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She’s received numerous awards for her work including: Best Feature Length Documentary at the Slightly North of Boston Film Festival, Broadcasters Association Silver Dome First Place Award for Best Radio News Story, and multiple awards from the Alliance for Community Media Hometown Video Festival for her community media programming. She also received Mayoral and City Council Commendations for her work in Quincy, MA and served as a Juror on the Woods Hole Film Festival.
