Workshop Description: Whether you just stepped into volunteer management or have an established track record and volunteer program at your organization, this workshop is for you! Join us for an interactive, deep dive into the key elements of effective volunteer engagement and the necessity of preparedness. Panelists will help attendees identify their program’s current strengths and opportunities and they’ll begin setting priorities and next steps to meet their agency’s needs. Group discussions will help to round out the session and make for a lively, informational workshop! Topics include program oversight, administrative functions, recruitment, orientation and training, program tracking, feedback and the importance of a positive volunteer culture.
