Unedited video of press conference hosted by Senator Edward J. Markey speaking out against the Federal Communications Commission’s proposed rule that, if approved. will endanger the future of local community TV stations in hundreds of communities across the United States.
Held in Boston, MA on April 1st, the press event followed a well-attended round-table discussion moderated by Sen. Markey with reps from public-educational-government access TV stations from around the Commonwealth. Speakers included Melinda Garfield, of MassAccess, Geoffrey Beckwith of Mass Municipal Association, & Mayor Stephanie M. Burke of Medford, MA.
