As you may have noticed, we will be in beautiful Portland, Maine on Saturday, October 22 for the celebration of our 2016 Video Festival Awards. But before the Special Awards Luncheon and festivities, there will be workshops at the CTN5 studios. For starters:
STEP BY STEP: Making a Dynamic Documentary
A documentary can communicate your ideas with a powerful voice. Geoffrey Leighton, Principal of Leighton Images, will draw on his 30 years experience to offer techniques to help you move to the next level in creating persuasive programming. At our Video Festival, he will introduce us to various types of documentary filmmaking, drawing on both classic documentaries and television “reality” programming to illustrate styles. Bring your ideas and works in progress to the workshop for specific help!
