Erica Jones at Somerville Community Access TV (MA) and Jane Regan, a professor at Salem State University, are trying to find out find out what type of local news, public affairs and independent local programming is happening in the United States at PEG centers. The results will help illustrate to funders, politicians, and scholars that community media at PEG access centers is thriving, powerful and influential!
The deadline for their community news survey, first offered in April, has been extended to May 20. Find the survey here.
